Consider reserving your restaurant table early, as it gets quite busy and can impact your dining experience.

The building is striking and the Executive Double room was spacious, boasting a large bathroom and comfortable bed. I encountered issues with inconsistent water temperature during showers. Even with a higher pricing tier, the dining options fell short of expectations, particularly the breakfast selection that was drastically reduced due to kitchen limitations while still charging full price. The overall experience leaves room for improvement.

We had a wonderful stay as a family at the Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa. The Classic Double Room with Two Double Beds was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our needs. The staff were incredibly friendly, particularly towards our kids, who loved the animal treasure hunt and were delighted with balloons upon arrival. The pool was a big hit, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent, especially the dinner!
Some furniture showed signs of age.

Refreshing spa experience but room issues need addressing
I enjoyed the comprehensive spa facilities, particularly the thermal experience rooms that offered a unique relaxation opportunity. my room had a damp smell and was not up to par with what I expected for a superior room. The staff were friendly, yet the room condition was disappointing compared to the hotel's overall promise.

Our night here was lovely! We enjoyed the indoor pool and the soothing sauna, which made for a perfect way to relax after a long drive. The only hiccup was some building work going on, but it didn't bother us at all, so I recommend checking it out if you’re looking to unwind! 😊

Pleasant Experience with Room for Improvement
I appreciated the clean facilities and friendly staff. The pool was a nice touch after a long day. beware of additional costs for amenities. The room was comfortable, but some equipment felt outdated. Consider dining off-site for a wider variety and better value.
